Cancellation
We will run all practices, even when raining, as long as the air temperature is at least 58 degrees at 3:00pm. However, we may cancel a practice if the coaches/swim chair feels that the weather is too harsh to practice, despite the temperature. A practice that has already begun will be suspended if/when there is lightning/thunder. The delay will be 30 minutes from the last lightning strike/thunder clap. The intention, however, is to hold as many practice sessions as possible without cancellation.
Swim families will be notified of all cancellations by Remind101. Remind101 is a text communication system. During the season, please be sure to check your email and/or messages on a regular basis for announcements, especially if you think the weather is questionable.
