Woodbrooke Hills

Parents and swimmers are invited to this event for food and fun. The afternoon will start out with individual pictures followed by a team photo. Then we will enjoy a potluck supper and a brief word from our head coach and swim chairs.  Our Social Coordinator(s) with have a Spirit Project for the swimmers to work on as well. 

To create a team atmosphere among all of our swimmers, we have the Big Buddy / Little Buddy system.  Each 8 & Under swimmer who is interested is paired with an older swimmer.  The idea is that the older swimmer will help the younger swimmer get to the team cheer and generally be helpful with any questions the younger swimmer might have. They will also cheer each other on during some swim meet events.  Sign ups sheets are provided near the beginning of the season.

It is NOT the responsibility of the Big Buddy to get their Little Buddy to the marshaling area.  That is a critical step and is best left to the Little Buddy's parents.  However, they most certainly can explain the marshaling process and help if they choose.

The morning of each dual meet we provide bagels, for breakfast. Swimmers can enjoy their bagels between 9:00 & 10:30.  This allows the 9-12 and 13 & Over swimmers to eat after their practice while the 8 & Under swimmers can eat before their practice. 

Swimmers enjoy a hearty breakfast of pancakes cooked by our coaches. In addition, our Warrior Spirit Director will have a project for our swimmers to work on to prepare for Finals.

The whole team comes together one last time to enjoy a meal together. Our Coaches will recognize swimmers who went above and beyond both in personal development and in service of their Team. All swimmers will receive a certificate of participation as a momento of another great summer of Water Warrior swimming.
